Steve has over 30 years’ experience in retail, food and digital marketing at management and board level. He has the rare skill-set of working from the coalface of customer service through to his last role as Operations Director for a large digital marketing agency which he held for 14 years.

He supported this originally small team through the journey of becoming an extensive company. Throughout this he oversaw and motivated an average of 100 employees; multi-tasking at its finest!
Steve has also worked as a business broker supporting clients in valuing and selling their businesses as well as advising business owners on how to maximize their exit potential.
Having worked as a Franchise Consultant and Franchise Marketeer prior to setting up the company with Claire, Steve is now the Operations Director at The Franchise Consultant, overseeing all aspects of the business.
Steve is a genuine team player, who prioritises developing strong working relationships that are built on trust and respect. He appreciates being able to use the skills and experience he has gathered to work with businesses of all sizes to offer a personalised client-centred approach.
Steve lives in Esholt (The home of Emmerdale) with his large family plus two Labradors and two cats. In his spare time, he has a passion for watching a range of sports but when he is dragged away from this, he loves to spend time with his family and, when possible, get away to the North Yorkshire coast to fully relax.
